Pratik completing his education from Delhi University in 2010, made his way to family business of trading and real estate, in the small city of Siliguri. His curiosity and thirst for knowing more and connecting to the world outside, made him join esteemed organizations like CII backed Young Indians, and thereafter Round Table India.
In his experience, he witnessed that the members at some platforms only hard-sell to him, while at some places rarely encourage any business at all. He lacked that sweet spot of developing meaningful long-term relationships that helped each other grow in respective businesses.
In the early months of 2016, he was introduced to the concept of BNI, and that changed it all. Attending a few chapter meetings at Kolkata, he was convinced that this is what he and his city was missing: the attitude called BNI! And immediately therefore, he worked hard to set the stage to welcome BNI to Siliguri.
